This week I get to unveil two new gowns from Israeli couture designer Galia Lahav that are now in our salon for brides to try on. Both gowns not only epitomize Galias style, they also offer a great representation of the latest bridal trends. Theyre sheer, revealing, and ultra-sexy.
I love that even though the first gown has such a low neckline in the front there is nothing conservative about the back. I usually talk about balance with gowns, but in this case I think it's the element of surprise that trumps a need for balance. The back is stunning and unexpected. Did they really do that? Oh, yes, they did
The second gown by comparison almost looks traditional, but it also employs an element of surprise with the slit up the front and the sheer illusion sleeves. Whereas the first gown is sleek and seductive the second gown is full of fairy tale romance. I love the off-shoulder neckline and the delicate, barely there sleeves. The sheer sleeves give the gown a great modern twist on an old classic.
We are delighted to welcome both these gowns to our salon, and we hope you'll come meet them soon.
