New-Years-celebration The 5 Best Things About New Years Eve Weddings Its not a very well kept secret that most people wish they could spend New Years Eve the way they do in the movies: fancy dress, nice tux, cocktail in hand, glittering ballroom, and a nonstop party. New Years Eve weddings provide all of that and more and thats why we just adore them. Seriously, who is getting married the 31st who wouldnt mind a few crashers? So here you are, the top five best things about a New Years Eve Wedding.   5. Decked Out I might like to put on a front that buying a new dress and getting dressed up is a hassle, but its not. Other people also enjoy this charade, but the truth is, people want to put on something new or sparkly and ring in the New Year in style.   4. Open Bar This is a no brainer. Going out on New Years Eve can be expensive, and for the couple the tab might prove pretty expensive, but youve earned your treat with your wonderful presents and presence and you can enjoy each bubbly drop of champagne.   3. After the Party Its the after party. It just keeps going. If the couple have planned it well, and of course they will, then the reception wont even really get roaring until midnight and once the dance floor closes the hotel bar will provide just the right setting to let the celebrating continue.   2. All Your Favorite People in One Place Ok, maybe not all of your favorite people. But if its a close friend or member of your family then its pretty close to all of them. You get to see old friends. You get to see distant relatives. You get to dance with cousins and grandparents and feel all warm and fuzzy. Its the perfect way to spend the holiday.   1. Sounds Like a Plan But the very best thing about going to a New Years Eve wedding is that it takes all the pressure off the holiday. You dont have to agonize over what you are going to do or where you are going to go. You dont have to worry that youll fall asleep on the couch before the ball drops. Not that I would know what that's like ; )   {Lindsey}
