Cookie Swap with a Twist!

When it comes to bridal showers there are so many options to consider and so many trendy ways to keep guests excited and involved. Bridal bingo is one way to go, if you have to, but the team at Betsys has recently stumbled on something a whole lot sweeter. There is no shortage of holiday spirit around the salon and so the girls got together this past week for a good old fashioned cookie swap with a brand new twist. Each participant baked up a few dozen cookies, from ginger snaps to snickerdoodles, to some delightful biscotti and brought them in to share. The break room was decked out with the bright holiday cookies, and each girl brought home her treats in a nice holiday container. It had all the usual benefits of a cookie swap, but thanks to a quick email to a Glad representative, each cookie baked resulted in a $1 donation to pediatric cancer research. Together, we raised over $700 to help kids fight cancer. Thats just pretty sweet and its something for brides to keep in mind as they plan their festivities. It was easy to do and everyone walked away with a great treat.
