  For this weeks featured Betsy Bride wedding we are so thrilled to introduce you to Katelyn and Ryan. You might recognize Katelyn from her days here at Betsy Robinsons as a sales consultant and a frequent modeler of bridal gowns on our social media sites. It is a pleasure to be able to feature her now in her own Watters gown that frankly, looks made just for her. Its clean lines, its simple elegance, its utterly classic look all compliment Katelyn head-to-toe.       Both the ceremony and reception took place at the beautiful Mt. Washington Mill Dye House on an overcast and rainy April evening. While the rain may have required a last-minute switch to an indoor ceremony it undeniably provided the most beautiful lightening for their photos taken by Aven Love Studios. The pink and orange floral arrangements popped against a backdrop of blue-gray light. The exposed brick of the Dye House walls, the gold flatware, and the bare old-fashioned light bulbs draped from the ceiling all stood out a little more thanks to the cloud-filtered light.     The rain could only soak a few hemlines, but it could not dampen the spirit of the day. All one hundred and sixty-five guests, whether acquainted or not, felt like family under the twinkling lights of the dance floor. The entire wedding had equal parts elegance and whimsy and romance, but its chief signifier and highest compliment was that it was fun. It was what all weddings aim to be by embracing all the sentimentality and solemnity of such a momentous commitment by two people while simultaneously simply being a fantastic party. The dance floor was full of energy and no one seemed to ever stop smiling and hugging.     Guests found themselves obsessed with the delicious food provided by Linwoods and the stunning floral centerpieces provided by Dutch Floral Garden. I mean, just look at those blooms! All in all the wedding pulled from the understated simplicity of the Dye House and allowed every detail to stand-out proving once and for all that you dont need a sunny day to shine.     Congratulations Betsy Bride!   {Lindsey}
